After the excellent reshaping of Bibio’s “Lovers’ Carvings” and Machinedrum’s “Late Night Operation” Letherette are now in full flow, with their new release on Alexander Nut's Ho_Tep imprint.
The quasi mythical duo consists of two producers and old school friends Andy Harbor and Richard Roberts. The Wolverhampton based duo were recently featured on Gilles Peterson Brownswood Electric compilation after another track, In July Focus, began doing the rounds with tastemakers globally.
For those unfamiliar, prepare thyself for ditties full of swing, soul and synths with the periodic stabs adding to the mix. This Letherette is simply smooth.
