Time for some beats for the lounge / headphones. Nouveaunoise are an Irish duo who specialise in intricate, dreamy electronica, with quality funk drums layered underneath for head-nod action. The band consists of Nial Conway and Conor Gaffney, coming to grips with every sort of synthesised sound, deteriorated loop and warped organic noise they can conjure. Its reminiscent, to these uncultured ears, of early Fourtet stuff, which is certainly a good thing.
